This is especially important because every culture holds different ideas of right or wrong; beautiful or ugly; luxurious or trashy. I know I do. Yet the world continues to be fascinating because of its diversity.
I remember being in Jerusalem many years ago during the first Intifada having a fascinating conversation with a Palestinian man who gave me a few home truths about how much power women had within Islam. It’s a different perspective to mine, but no less valid.
